Retirement

Like the tireless GPS guidance voice tells you as you travel the highways and miss the road she had planned for you, retirement is about RECALCULATING yourself – AGAIN!

I Write Histories
Vince and Marsha at a Woodlake Foundation dinner. Yikes! We took spamtures as our contribution.

I searched for retirement articles in my blog, and came up with 30 of them.  Here are a few of my first thoughts.  I don’t feel retired anymore, just settled into the unexpected.

Retirement is a wonderful time of life, but I still don’t have enough hours in the day. 🙂

I retired in 2004. Since then, I have been busy which keeps me young. 🙂

Young is good. You know no one ever says, “I’ve been doing such and such to get old.” So funny. Young is fun! Have a Merry Christmas and a Young New Year! 🙂

Lucky you to be able to retire at such a young age! Isn’t redefining yourself a great adventure?

It is indeed! I’m loving it – even though I still feel pretty unstructured because I am still workish some of the time! I am trying to learn lots of new skills, and that is invigorating! 🙂

As long as you’re having fun and growing, it’s all wonderful. 🙂
