Good morning friends. I am sitting in our former rental condo using my phone. The Internet will get hooked up tomorrow. I’m not great at using my phone to publish. LOL
As you all know, in September I flew to Portland, Oregon to meet blogger friends. From there Terri Webster Schrandt and I drove to the Spokane area to visit her new home.

Tell me about your memorable trip using at least one quote and link to this post. I will publish your links from this week and last week in next week’s WQW.
I’ll be back next week. I will visit you between now and then.
Lots of love and have a wonderful week before Thanksgiving.

yes, indeed, laughter is an instant vacation. And the sound of flowing rivers? mesmerizing, isn’t it?

I love rivers of all sizes and shapes. The noisy ones are more fun than the quiet ones, but I love them all.

Hi Marsha! Saw your subject on Terri’s post today and had to link mine which features several trips to our national parks, among my very favorite ever. Absolutely loved your image of Little Spokane! https://travelsandtrifles.wordpress.com/2022/11/26/lens-artists-challenge-227-home-sweet-home/

Thanks, Tina. I saw that when I read Donna’s post that we had the same subject. Great minds run along the same paths. LOL

I’m not sure if you’re kidding, but I’d love to meet you for lunch and a little tour or hike if you come up this way! 🌞

I meant on your blog, but I would love to meet you up there, too! How fun would it be to take a tour or a hike. Let’s set a date after Thanksgiving and before you get too much snow. 🙂

Sounds good! Due to 2 upcoming trips, we’ll need to look at late January. It’s a warm winter so far, so I don’t think snow is gonna be an issue. 🌞

Late January works for me or any time after the first of the year. The rest of this year is packed. 🙂

What a pretty river scene! This is a theme after my own heart of course, so of course I’m joining in with a post about the start of my most recent memorable trip: https://www.toonsarah-travels.blog/in-kathmandus-durbar-square/

Always nice to see Bowl and Pitcher area from someone else’s eyes, Marsha! Nice job posting from your phone. And what do you mean by “former rental condo?”
LikeLiked by 1 person
Cindy’s condo. She never got internet. It was a 1031 exchange – a legal way to buy and sell rental property without having to pay the taxes. You can’t live in the property for two years, then you can move in. If you live in it for two more years you don’t pay taxes if you sell at least federal taxes. If you don’t sell, you don’t have to pay the taxes on the increase- which is substantial if you have had rental property for a long time. That’s a long answer for a short question.

That’s a great one, Frank. Lots of great reasons to travel, and an honest eval of comfort. Generally the best stories come from all the travel mishaps. Then as time passes they blend into the bigger picture kind of like footprints in the sand.
