Terri had so many inspiring examples of numbers in her photos for Sunday Stills this week. Fortunately, Vince and I had an extreme Numbers weekend and my numbers are focused on cars.
Before I get carried away by cars I do have a singleton numbered glove picture for Yvette Prior.
Martin Auto Museum Series #1
Recommended by John Steiner, we visited the new Martin Auto Museum which recently moved to Glendale, AZ. By the way, it is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization. When you see these cars, it becomes very obvious how they could not make a profit from the $10 per person cost of photographing your way through their “more than 160 vehicles” museum. Children under 12 are free and everyone can climb in and out of these cars and have their pictures taken. It is a win-win-win.
These pictures were all taken with an Apple 12s Mini either and cropped and processed in Adobe Bridge. All qualify for Cell Pic Sunday #245.
My #1 Choice
Another Favorite
A few years ago Vince and I toured the Shelby Museum in California. This car was as memorable as any of the cars in that gorgeous museum. I can’t even imagine how much this Shelby Cobra from Mr. Shelby’s personal collection is worth but I’m sure it is a high number because of the low mileage.
In Classic Cars Speed is King
One of the most important gadgets on a car is the speedometer. They came in all shapes and sizes. Here are a few of them.
More Favorite Numbers in Various Locations
Vince and I also went to a Car Coffee Clatch at Market Street at DC Ranch Mall in Scottsdale. Some of the cars were historic. All were well above the numbers we could afford. We did find one affordable at the Martin Auto Museum Gift Shop.
I hoped you enjoyed my numerical display for Sunday Stills and John’s Cell Pic Sunday because more are coming up on future challenges. 🙂 See you ’round the Blogosphere.
