“You can cut all the flowers but you cannot stop spring from coming.”
— Pablo Neruda
Another quote to give us hope for Ukraine and the rest of the world. I will donate $1 for every like on this post to help the people of Ukraine.

My Choices for Spring Equinox
“All through the long winter, I dream of my garden. On the first day of spring, I dig my fingers deep into the soft earth. I can feel its energy, and my spirits soar.”
— E.B. White
DEFINITION: On March 20 or 21st, when the sun crossed the equator. Day and night everywhere on earth were about twelve hours each – hence the term equinox. During the solstices, we get the longest and shortest days. I don’t know about you, but I get them mixed up.
“Behold, my friends, the spring is come; the earth has gladly received the embraces of the sun, and we shall soon see the results of their love!”
— Sitting Bull
“Spring shows what God can do with a drab and dirty world.”
― Virgil A. Kraft
For centuries people have celebrated spring equinox also called the vernal equinox. Besides representing the first day of spring, it is a symbol of rebirth, fertility, and new beginnings. Everyone loves a second chance or a do-over, right? What’s not to love about spring? OK allergies, but let’s not go there!
“Spring has returned. The Earth is like a child that knows poems.”
— Rainer Maria Rilke
By the way, this child now loves writing poems. She is in 8th grade, I think. Her mom called me this week and asked what was new. I told her about our visit from Jack and Monica and said, “My house is spotless. You should come to visit.”
“Okay,” she said.
“No I mean it, you should.”
“OK,” she said again.
“Soon!”
“OK,” she said again.
“Well when?” I asked getting excited.
“Soon,” she said.
Now I was suspicious. “Where are you?”
“Frys in Prescott Valley,” she answered.
“So you’re going to be here in ten minutes.”
“About,” she answered.
The visit was way too short, but we had a fun time walking around downtown and visiting before she and her friend were off to Williams, AZ to ride the train to the Grand Canyon the next day.
Enjoying Spring Cell Pics Past and Present
“We sat in silence, letting the green in the air heal what it could.”
― Erica Bauermeister
Most of these flowers are from California. Can you tell which ones are not? Do you feel you just had a prove you are a human test? LOL All of these are cell phone pics with different phones over the years. All have been processed in Bridge to crop them and make them as crisp and clear as possible.
Cell Pic Spring Fun with Friends
“Spring is nature’s way of saying, ‘Let’s party!’”
— Robin Williams
Last week you know if you saw my post “How Do You Make Green Coffee?”, and PPAC Prescott Downtown Art Mural, we had friends who came from CA to visit us. And we partied. I’ve shown many photos from the Musical Instrument Museum (MIM). Here are three more from the MIM and three from Wickenburg outside the Cowboy Museum.
Not to repeat myself, but… All of these are cell phone pics with different phones over the years. All have been processed in Bridge to crop them and make them as crisp and clear as possible.
