Public art encompasses any form of art you see in a public place, large or small, statues, murals, graffiti, gardens, parks, etc. The art should be visible from streets, sidewalks, or outdoor public places. Let your imagination and photographic eye show us diverse samples all over the world.

I have one more Wickenburg post for you before I move on to other places. I’ve been curating my photos to make some space on my computer’s hard drive. It’s been telling me that I don’t have enough room for all that I want to store there. The new drive I bought has a terabyte of storage, so I’m hoping that will hold everything I’m trying to fit on it. There are dishes in my sink. I haven’t finished my post for tomorrow! I’m addicted to curating! But no matter, it’s time to move on.

All of these pictures were taken outside of Town Hall of the City of Wickenburg.
If you’re looking for which way to go, this sign might help. It has their same horse and carriage logo but is more permanent looking than last week’s sign.
You probably recognize Wickenburg’s lone 1863 prisoner. He let me take some other angles of shots. I can’t say that I’m a fan of feet, but the artist did a fabulous job of making his foot and sock look so real.
Speaking of feet, I vaguely remember a challenge about feet about ten years ago when I started blogging. I don’t think it is still going on, but this guy would be a prime candidate for it.
#Thursday Doors & #Monday Windows

I love the reflections in these spotless windows on this well-maintained caboose. The powers do not want you to climb on the caboose, and from the huge step to get up and the lack of footprints, I think people honor that request. If you do want to go inside, the sign on the door gives the name of a website, https://outwickenburgway.com. I assume that they make appointments. The rest of the sign explains the COVID restrictions of one person inside at a time, and which door to go in.

I should include a bit more research about these doors. Dan has gone to a great deal of trouble researching his doors this week, so you will really enjoy his post this week if you love history like I do.
My excuse for not researching is that Friday morning I’m having what I hope will be my last venogram, which is what the surgical procedure is called that has been healing my deep vein thrombosis. The real reason is that I messed around curating pictures all day Thursday and forgot what time it was.

An artist did a beautiful job decorating Nana’s window. Between the reflection and the painting, the people inside had complete privacy.
