Public art encompasses any form of art you see in a public place, large or small, statues, murals, graffiti, gardens, parks, etc. The art should be visible from streets, sidewalks, or outdoor public places. Let your imagination and photographic eye show us diverse samples all over the world.
Last week for PPAC #21, Cee had a marvelous response from all of you. I want to say thank you to each of you for joining along in our challenge. Here are the featured bloggers for this week. Their posts really grabbed my attention. They are all worthy of a second or third look.

My Choices for PPAC #22
One of our favorite places to visit is the California Central Coast, and we particularly love Avila Beach. It used to be a sleepy little town until an oil spill forced the entire beach to shut down for cleaning. This process took years, and the town as we knew it disappeared and a new gentrified beach town appeared in its place.
Avila Beach, CA
It’s still a wonderful place, with a micro-climate that is warmer and more protected than any other on the Central California Coast. We happened to be there one day to watch an artist designing his sculptures.
He uses simple tools, a straw, and buckets of water.
The artist’s other sculpture supervised his efforts on the next creation.
The artist must not have worked well under so much scrutiny and he left on a break. The pup adoringly awaited his master’s return.
Sculpterra Winery
Even though I have written about this winery long before we hosted PPAC, I thought they rated sharing again, only cropped and straightened. It was a little out of the way for us as we traveled home, but well worth the detour.
They had a taco truck set up outside for humans who got hungry.
Now it’s your turn.
Take us for a spin around your world to see the public art you love.
