This is the first time I’ve played Bush Boy’s Challenge #The Last Shot.

The rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for the 31st October.
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
4. Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments
5. Tag “The Last Photo”

  1. Fabulous captures…both!! Interesting that they kind of share a similar color scheme. Love the bones.

    1. Well thank you so much! They didn’t need to be good, only the last! 🙂 Have a wonderful Thanksgiving if you celebrate it. 🙂

    1. You’ll have to start a first photo challenge! I’ve got to go hunt some future nostalgic photos. 🙂

  4. I’m not sure I’d want to join this challenge. You don’t know how many blurred, fuzzy, and poorly composed images that I leave in the trash bin on my computer. >grin<
Your images, however, certainly show well. I must say, I don't think I've ever seen the skeleton of a horse.

    1. LOL! I didn’t know what I would find, to be honest. I think it’s kind of cool to see proof that photographers that we know and love have throw-away photos.

      1. My philosophy about good photography… If you take a thousand photos, one or two of them might be pretty good. 🙂

I am so glad I no longer have to pay to process those that are not worth keeping.

        1. Amen to that. I didn’t really do too much photography before then. I took a ton of pictures when Mom and I went to England, and I took a lot at school when I taught, but other than that, I didn’t take many pictures pre-digital.

    1. I’m glad, Frank. There is one street in Prescott that dresses up for Halloween, and it took two photo shoots to get them all because people waited to the last second to decorate. I got many people out decorating as I was taking pictures. Needless to say, the season was over before I had a chance to use them all, so they are filed away for next year.

    1. You are so welcome to sit and read and cuddle Puppy Girl. That’s sort of a must if you sit on her couch! 🙂 I’ll bring you a cup of tea or coffee and a piece of cake. 🙂 I see you like yellow cakes. Could you settle for chocolate?

          2. I tend to be a copycat reader. I’m reading a book Robbie Cheadle recommended Regeneration by Pat Barker. I just ordered The Color Purple by Alice Walker, recommended by Cee.

  8. Cute and scary for Last Photos. Love the weird horse/dinosaur maybe a dragon. I would sit there in the sun too Marsha 🙂 🙂

    1. Your bones would bleach and dry out. 🙂 I think it was a dragon, but I’m not sure either.
