Today’s topic for Cee’s Midweek Madness Challenge is Close-ups or Macros. I don’t know about you, but I hadn’t sorted my photos for close-up shots.

This afternoon it took me about an hour and a half to go through my 2021 photos and add a keyword label to each photo that fit the description of that photo type. Next, I tried to make it into a collection, but sadly Bridge froze. That was another great example I could have used for my Writer’s Quotes Challenge this week – cold!

My Close Up Choices

Feeling lucky in a pink Mustang
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.
“When you coming home, Mom?”

“I don’t know when, but we’ll get together then, Moj. You know we’ll have a good time then.”
“Could Mom have been eaten by a monster?”
“Did she fly away with a giant hummingbird?”
Is she bringing me something beautiful?

This photo works well for Thursday’s Trios on Mama Cormier’s blog, too.

“Relax, Moj. There are no monsters or giant hummingbirds. You don’t need any more toys. Probably she’s bringing us home an alien to climb on because our tree is worn out.”

“Would you two shush and let me sleep. Nutters doesn’t give me any room, and you never shut up, Moj.”

“There’s no such thing as aliens, Nutter Butter. Besides I always need more toys.”

Now its your turn.

I’m not great at writing short stories, but I love to write dialogue – especially when my animals get involved. What close-ups do you have hiding in your files?

Love seeing Moji’s paws, they look so soft 😃

They are soft, but Nutter Butter is the one who allows you to pet his paws. Moji has started to reach out and pat Vince on the arm gently with no claws to wake him when she thinks it’s breakfast time (about 3:00-4:00 am.).

Very nice, Marsha. I like the high heeled shoe. I could make that out of fondant.

Thanks, Cee. I’m thinking about our BD party. Why don’t you send me about 7 (our number) of your favorite photos – links are good. Are you doing anything on your site? If not, I’ll add 7 of my favorite photos. I’m thinking about doing a video of Vince making tacos because Yvette said she wanted tacos. I’m also using a few of Janis’s photos of Day of the Dead to go with the tacos. Do you have a favorite song or video? You can email me answers. I’m just lazy! 🙂

    Love the cat guy.
    Cute eyes.
Are you using photography software for key wording?

Thanks. That’s our diva, Moji, short for emoji and she’s enormous, much bigger than our male cat. I use Bridge for keywording. About two months ago I bit the bullet and ordered the photography package from Adobe which costs $10 per month. It has saved me way more than that in time saved. I don’t use all the programs or all the features of Bridge, but it is well worth it to me.

        Thank you so much Marsha.
Glad that you are using the keywords and organising the photos such that it’s easier to pull out the needed images with just one click.

Yes, it’s much easier than organizing them in the folders in One Drive by details.
