Many of my fellow Challenge Hosts have already featured fall or autumn in colors, photos, stories, and poetry. Fall is my favorite season maybe because of how gorgeous and cool it is, or maybe because I am a fall child.

Whatever your reason, If you love this season, please join in with your quotes, pictures, stories, poems and other creative endeavors.

  1. Fabulous quotes, especially the George Eliot. My sister and I used to jump into huge piles of Mulberry leaves on our property. I can still smell and feel them. I’m just crazy about the Fall.

    1. Do you know I never took a picture of all those big yellow mulberry leaves when I raked them. I’m kicking myself. They were so wonderful. I loved raking them. I tried to call you this morning. You must be super busy! 🙂

    1. I dont’ know if my comment went through, Irene, I hate to admit it, but I can’t crawl out of bed until the autumn or winter sun is shining through my window, and by then I’ve missed it! I’m glad you were an early riser, though. 🙂

  8. I think I’ve got a bit lost with the prompts, lol. I thought it was recollections and wrote this short piece – https://new2writing.wordpress.com/2021/10/13/teaspoon-treasures/
I’ll have a think about a fall related one.

  9. Beautiful photos and quotes, Marsha. I love all the warm red, orange and brown hues captured, it just feels like you need a snuggly scarf and hot cuppa in your hand just to scroll through them – haha. I love the Bell Rock one too, that feels like you have captured a moment.
Thank you for including a link to my story.

  11. Well, you know I love Fall, Marsha! I noticed you adjusted your WQW prompts, so that’s good. Love the quotes you’ve chosen this week, especially the one about how fall is the golden hour! I can easily link with Sunday Stills this week (pink–kind of a color challenge, more my nod to BC awareness). Love those grape leaf images, I do miss seeing them.

    1. I miss them, too. I’m at a loss for fall colors here. Pink might be easier. It is if I fall back to my BC 60-mile walk photos. I spent hours classifying my pictures by orange last week to even find some fall pictures! 🙂

  12. Just stunning. I love the jewel tones in the changing leaves. But that gold is just magnificent. I want to join you this month…before the month is out. Having a terrible time with WordPress but will try to get a post together. Thank you for sharing the bits of fall you have encountered in your world.
