Would you like to be double delighted in September? This month, I’ve picked a theme of roses. Granted, it’s not the main season for roses, that would be April, in California. They are still nice here in Prescott. I like this challenge, even though I’m doing others, I’ll try not to intermingle them so much so you won’t have to plow through stories to see the flowers.

  • Single flowers
  • Buds
  • Multiple flowers
  • Bouquet
  • Flower fields
  • Wildflowers
  • Tree or bush blossoms
  • Autumn leaves
  • Spring leaves
  • Decorative Cabbage
  • Berries

Woodlake Rose Garden’s Double Delights

“Love is much like a wild rose, beautiful and calm, but willing to draw blood in its defense.”

– Mark Overby

Thanks so much for the visit. Have an angelic day.

Another Double Delight is Yvette Prior’s guest post for #WQWWC 40 this week on the topic of work and career. She makes some suggestions about work and the digital world that will serve you well and as Erica/Erika says, ” I know this post is going to stay with me as I navigate the digital world and plug in. Awareness is key.”

Exceptionally beautiful photos in this post, Marsha! I was not aware these roses are called Double Delight. An appropriate quote by Mark Overby. I learn a great deal from Mother Nature. Thank you for the mention. 🙂Thank you for sharing some of the beauty on our planet.

My grandmas and I have been rose growers in our family. Most of mine are not really mine. They are in the Woodlake Rose Garden. That’s where all of these pictures come from.

Did you know the tiny rose bushes in downtown Prescott are called Cliff Rose. I loved them so much I have them in my front yard. Have a blooming blessed day!
