FOTD #21: Roses Are Pink


This month, since TreeSquares is over, I decided to participate in Cee’s Flower of the Day Challenge – (FOTD).  Like Becky B, Cee offers us the freedom to post every day or when we feel like it.  I made the mistake of classifying my trees as flowers for about half the month last month. So this month – no trees. (maybe). Cee’s FOTD challenge accepts:

Fake Flowers Queensland Style

I’m not sure what Rosie here is doing with her rose, but she’s all dressed up like I might have been when I was about 3-4 with the wool coat, muff and matching hat (though the hat with veil would have been borrowed from my grandma.)
Flowers are a favorite pattern for quilters and doll makers.
Manny wears his Hawaiian Frangipani given to him by his friend Justin Beaver to the Bunya Mountains. Justin got shy about getting his picture taken in case you are thinking that other pet is a beaver. That’s Ekkie, the echidna my friend Leanne bought me in Healesville Sanctuary.
