Less than two weeks to go of #TreeSquare now, but it is still absolutely fine to join in the fun. You could square daily for the remainder of the month or just pop in occasionally between now and the 31st with your trees. The only absolute rule for joining in with Squares is that your photograph must be square in shape! Although I’d love it if you had a moment to also explore the galleries – here’s part one of the first and here’s part two.Becky B
In this month’s square’s challenge I will start at home, which is Prescott, AZ and spiral farther and farther from home to share different tree from my travels. Today is also Thursday Trios at the blogging home of my friend Mama Cormier.
In March 2018, we had signed up for an “all you can spend” tour with a timeshare company that took us to Tennessee and North Carolina with the caveat to see the Biltmore Estate. If you are suffering from heat exhaustion today, this will be a great post to view.
The three day trip started out with a mild walk in the woods across a quaint wooden bridge.
The snow-studded Smokey Mountains looked pretty in the distance. We expected and depended on snow in the mountains even in March in California.
But the weather changed overnight. Even though I grew up in Indiana, super cold weather in California was an infrequent barely freezing for a few days in December or January. This was March and we expected a little bit of spring.
We walked carefully across the parking lot to our tour bus that would take us to the Biltmore Mansion in North Carolina, only about an hour and a half away.
My camera lens was not dirty, well it might have been, but also the snow spit at us through the windows.
Now don’t you feel cooler? Have a great weekend coming up and get ready with your Public Art posts. Tomorrow is Cee’s turn with PPAC #6.
