Most of us in the photo challenge world have been playing with trees this month for Becky B’s #TreeSquares. I love to cover lots of challenges with one post so I don’t overwhelm my friends. Today, I’m going to cover trees in two posts today, a regular #TreeSquare and CBWC. Tomorrow I’ll post Sunday Stills, but the pictures won’t all be square. Becky’s posts need at least ONE square photo.
California Landscapes and Fields

Willow Dot wrote a poem for Scardy Cat in the comments. I love it! I’m revising my post to add it here.
Scardy Cat
braving foggy dawn
in white spats
it’s man and machine
vying with mother nature
taking her bounty.
misty morning scene
mighty mountains, lakes and trees
monochrome beauty.

Arizona Landscapes

Have a Challenging Sunday. By that I mean, enjoy lots of challenges. See you here and there. 🙂

Thank you so much Becky. I’m enjoying using Bridge. It does make editing much easier. 🙂

Your B&W’s are amazing. Marsha! I love the tule fog shot with that mist. Well-captured! And I agree that the first image is spectacular–a good image for an ag ad! Hope all is well my friend! My dad and step-mom will be here later today to spend the week with us–can’t wait!

Hi Terri, I was going to do my Sunday Stills post today, and decided that three posts in one day all about trees might be a bit much. So I’m saving that post until tomorrow. I’m so glad you get to see your family. They will love your new place.

I had a lot of fun with evergreens today, then Cee and I went through and redid some of my photos. She’s a genius.

Sorry about that – this darn spell check. I thought it might be an English version, but just in case, I changed it to get Spell Check off my back! 🙂

That happens to me a lot! 🙂 The poem was great either way. You are welcome to use my photos if you want to write poems on your blog. Just give me credit. They are a good enough quality for blog posts. If you want to publish then I would have to send you a better quality photo. 🙂

Thank you that so kind of you Marsha. I would always link and copywrite them to you of course 💜

I just wanted you to know that you are always welcome to any of them. It takes a special talent to take art from someone else and write something about it. My dad wanted me to write stories about his teddy bear pictures, and I just couldn’t feel the teddy’s personality. So have at any of them.

Thank you I am so grateful. What happened to your dad’s Teddy Bears in the end. 💜

The Teddy bears are gone. I still have the slides. I’ve never had my dad’s collection digitized. I should but it would cost me a fortune! One of these days, I may dig them out and do something with them. You are an inspiration, Willow.

That was an old one, but it popped up when I searched fields. I love it too. Great clouds and a machine we don’t see every day. Visalia used to be a top cotton producer, but it takes so much water that they gave it up.

That view of the Sierra Nevada Mountains is fabulous! And I really like the sepia toning on your first photo.
