Now remember if a daily #TreeSquare sounds daunting, it is okay to join weekly or even just pop in occasionally with your trees. The frequency and content of your squares entirely depends on you and your blog. The only absolute rule for joining in with Squares is that your photograph must be square in shape!

In this month’s square’s challenge I will start at home and spiral farther and farther from home to share different tree species in my travels. All of these posts will work for both Becky B’s Squares and Cee’s Flower of the Day, #FOTD

#Scottsdale Walk #1
We turned my retirement account into an investment and purchased a condo in Scottsdale. It’s adorable and we have spent the latter part of June turning it into an Air B & B.
We took these photos of Scottsdale on May 22 during our house-hunting venture.

Our favorite area was the Hayden Canal that runs through downtown. The canal provides water to Phoenix. It reminds me a little of San Antonio.

We hope it will do well. Meanwhile Vince enjoys going down there to get it ready for visitors. If you ever come back in the winter, it will be a lovely retreat close to tons of activities. 🙂

In 2009, when much real estate hit rock bottom, we purchased a condo as part of our retirement savings investment and have never regretted it. Great choice!

That was a better time to purchase, but we don’t mind because we had just sold another house in Visalia. We think it will be a wonderful place for people to stay when they go to events in Scottsdale and there are many. Where is your condo, Donna?

There are trees everywhere you go. Love it 😀

Even in 108-112 degree Scottsdale. If trees can grow in the deserts of AZ, they can grow almost everywhere. 🙂

Thanks, Jim. We love it there, too. I stayed there a few years ago when we had a timeshare. There’s a lot to do in Scottsdale. 🙂

I’ve never been to Scottsdale but it certainly has a San Antonio flare. Congrats on the new condo. I’m glad you finally found one. 🙂

Yay! It’s almost ready to go. Vince has struggled getting all the government paperwork done. The county paperwork is done! Now just the state and city, then it’s ready to go. I just checked Air B&B and it’s not up yet.
