Maybe you could start with one tree and increase the number day by day until you get to thirty one trees, or maybe you could focus on just one tree and share a different part of the same tree each day. They don’t even need to be real trees!
Becky B.
In this month’s square’s challenge I will start at home and spiral farther and farther from home to share different tree species in my travels. All of these posts will work for both Becky B’s Squares and Cee’s Flower of the Day, #FOTD .

#Prescott Walk #12 D Blooming Hills
It’s 5:00 am, and Puppy Girl just woke up and wants to go outside. In my ancient pjs we walk out the back door to the path behind the patio. Pine trees taller than my squares line the path, keep out the hot afternoon sun and give us privacy we’d never expect in a condo. Of course – carry a doggie bag.
When it gets a little later, we might go for a short walk down the street, but if the temperature soars over 100, we might wait until nearly sunset to do our longer walk. Up the hill – I’m breathing much easier now that I have been to the allergist. His advice – stay indoors. No trees there. 🙂
Allergic to Trees? Some Advice
stay inside and spray 3, 4, five times a day. then inhale deeply Dr. Marsha
Or… Keep on Walking
We turned around and headed back into the setting sun. What fun! The breeze gently blew leaves. People smiled into the beautiful temperature.

I am also suffering from allergies, Marsha, and it seems to be getting worse and worse. You can’t never go outside, can you? Life needs to be lived.

The Dr. said it does get worse throughout life, but the best thing he prescribed was a nasal rinse you get in the drug store. I have been so much better since I started with that. I won’t be staying inside 100% any time soon. 🙂

I also use a nasal rinse twice a day and so does Michael. He has a special one that breaks down biofilms. Michael must do what the doctor says for 1 month as his chest is weak.

Oh my and so young. I’m so sorry. I’ve always left my problems untreated and put up with them until it was annoying both my husband and me and limiting my life. I hope something helps you both. I’m sending lots of love and hugs for you both.

It occurred to me that I am turning into an old lady – at least for the month of July – as I have 4 doctor’s appointments this month. Two next week. YUCK!! I can think of so many other things I would rather do and rather spend money on!! Ha! But our health is precious and becomes more precarious as we age.
Had to hop over to learn more about Becky B.’s square project. Wish I had seen this earlier. Could have added my square tree photo to the post I published. We are hard-pressed to find many trees in El Paso. You are fortunate to have such lovely trees around your property. Especially making a natural barrier in your backyard. We have rock walls that give us some privacy but no shade.
Hope you are able to manage your allergies without locking yourself away in your castle like Rapunzel. I had pretty miserable allergies as a child but thankfully, they are better now that I am a grandma. Going to the doctor for other things these days!!

I was just talking about that with another friend. It does take so much time especially since I come to Scottsdale for all my appointments. That’s 3.5 hours just driving. But as you say our health is precious.
Becky’s project goes for the whole month so you can pop in on it whenever you like. It’s a challenge to do them every day, but I made it the whole way in April. She does one once a quarter.

Now you’ve seen where I look from my office every day. It’s almost like living in a mini-forest.

Thanks, Jim. It’s really a simple fix, and I struggled with it for 7 months without going to the doctor. It’s just that going to the doctor is such a pain and takes so much time. I’m not a doctor hater, but it seems like I’m going way too often! LOL I don’t want to turn into one of those old people whose only schedule is going to the doctor! YIKES!

for a while this past year, it seems like I was constantly going to the doctor; things seemed to have settled back into the old routine of just regular checkups. Fingers crossed it stays that way for both of us!

Yes, I’m almost there too once I see what’s wrong with my PB knee. 🙂

Thanks, Becky B. It’s fun to have the discipline of posting Squares every day, then getting a break. It’s exhausting towards the end, but it feels like a major accomplishment.
