Beware: Twisted, Kinda Freaky Story
According to Hugh Roberts, who got Story Chat off to its great start, “The Apple Doesn’t Fall Far from the Tree” by Debbie Harris “had ‘Twilight Zone’ written all over it. I felt I was taken to a parallel world where everything seemed normal but wasn’t.”
This felt so wrong, and I bet will outrage some readers (as it should) but you left us knowing that her husband was broken hearted, but was she?
Gary Wilson
Well that is just twisted! Nicely done, but I do agree with the gentleman who mentioned an alternative ending with the reveal being linked to a dislike of apples.

If you are new to Story Chat please come in, read the story, and tell us what you think about it. Make us argue with your viewpoint. Make us think! In the Story Chat Summary at the end of the month, I weave your comments, like the ones above together into a blog post and add a link to the commenter’s blog.
Part of the fun is meeting new authors and friends. It’s a growing, but intimate group of writers and readers who have fun writing, reading, and conversing together. Below is a list of last month’s attendees. We’d love you have you, not only stop by and comment on Debbie’s story, but visit the blogs of others in the community and get to know them.
All links take you to a post on the attendee’s/commenter’s blog.
