Cee Neuner writes photo challenges for every day of the week. For this week’s CBWC, seating, I’ve chosen several different types of seats.

This little bench made a model home look charming and more inviting. The kids didn’t mind hard cement.

This old tractor found in the Woodlake Botanical Gardens would not be super comfortable especially on a hot, Central California day.

This Zombie Van at the Prescott Car Show had all comforts of the 70s. The milk bottles are probably left over from the 50s. 🙂

To be fair, this is more of a scooting picture rather than a relaxing seat on the Old Soldier’s trail in Sedona, AZ. But I’m sure someone has sat there and dangled their feet in one of the Seven Sacred Pools.

Now it’s your turn

By the way, do you like my new look? This is the first time I’ve had a new theme in nine years. I also have a new blog address even though the other one works.

  3. those do look uncomfortable, although I wouldn’t mind being near that little pool of water.

And I like the new look of your website!

    1. Thank you Jim. It would be a hot trip to that sacred little pool today. 93 in Sedona, nothing compared to 106 in Las Vegas today.

My new theme is Lens. I’m glad you like it. I do love photographs, so I think it will work well even though some of my posts are not photo oriented – like Story Chat. I’ll have to work with that.

          1. I don’t think too much about my theme. I found a basic one that works for me, and I don’t see a need to switch. I’m not that ambitious 🙂

          2. I’m not ambitious describes me, Jim, but thanks, I think. I’ve had the same theme for so long, it’s like redecorating your house. Now this might be ambitious. Lisa Coleman designed me some business cards to hand out when I go to car shows and other events and take pictures. It has my blog address so they can find pictures of their cars – or whatever. 🙂 When I was in Visalia, several people asked me about it, and I had nothing to give them.

          6. and I didn’t write it back correctly, either. I guess I got overly worked up over the thought. Over a simple business card even. 🙂 LOL !!

    1. Yes, I am. I love everything except I can’t figure out how to change or display sidebars on my other pages for some reason. We can talk about it later. Other than that, I think I’m set!!! Yay!

  8. That first picture is so cute. And yes, I do like your new theme. I’ve debated changing but never had the courage to try it. I don’t want to muck up all the old posts.

    1. It actually didn’t muck up anything. I had to make sure that each post had a featured photo and if the words were cut off, I either just used a picture without words, or I remade the photo. But since with this theme, the title shows up as soon as you run your mouse over it, you don’t need anything but pictures. Past the most recent 44, I did not make changes to the ones that didn’t have a featured picture. They don’t show up on the page anyway. 🙂
