Since today’s choice of #WQWWC is Writer’s Choice, I’m going to do the same thing I did last time, and tie my post to another challenge or two or three.
- Lens Artist Photo Challenge – Guest artist Dianne Milliard
- #Tanka Tuesday #228 – Poet’s Choice 2 Haiku
This week the four regular Lens Artists are on break and their guest artist is Dianne Milliard with this week’s challenge. Her photography is outstanding AND she’s in the wilderness. I hope she brought some lunch from home because there sure aren’t any restaurants in these pictures. You should see the photo she took from her bedroom window. She’s a park ranger.
The Writer’s Quote’s Wednesday’s original topic for this week was friendship, so if you’d rather write about that, feel free to do so. Because, after all, isn’t forming friendships a big part of what we are trying to do with our blogs?
Maybe you get inspired by photos, like I do, use mine or weave magical tales, real or imaginary, around your own pictures.
The only rule is to use at least one quote in your post.
Kings Canyon National Park
“Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine into trees.”
John Muir
Living near the Sequoia National Park and seeing the Sierra Nevada Mountains every day from our home spoiled us. Rarely did we drive up the winding highways, often to fight crowds of soul searchers exploring inside the parks. However, in July, 2017 after the huge spring floods, we wanted to see the consequences of the heavy rains.

Now It’s Your Turn
Have fun with the topic of your choice. Don’t kill any birds, but join more than one challenge with one post and a good quote. And visit at least two bloggers in each community.

I two of TJIE’s, and maybe even more because I didn’t see the pingbacks. Maybe I’ve missed yours. If you link to my post, please leave me at least a brief comment so that I know you are there. I don’t want to miss anyone’s wonderful post.
