#BrightSquare Day 14
“As usual for a Squares Challenge month I will be sharing squares daily, and I would love it if you did the same. However if daily sounds too daunting, donβt worry. It is fine to join us weekly or even just pop in occasionally with your squares. The frequency of your squares depends on you and also your blog. All I ask is that your image has 4 equal sides, and that it reflects the theme of bright.”

Bright Puppy Missed Us SO Much
It didn’t matter if we were gone a minute, and hour, a day, or a month, Kalev is always glad to see us. Her face lights up like a neon sign, and her tail twists her body into a welcome home dance. It’s not a bright idea to pick her up until her ritual is complete. But if you wait too long, she starts her shrill screeching. Suggestions are welcome!
Pick me up now, or I’ll keep up the noise.
Kalev/Puppy Girl

Yes, she is brighter than we are. I wondered if she was brighter in color or black and white. What do you think? Here is a link to her puppy tale and how she came to live with us.
Happy blogging. we’re almost half-way through the month!
What or who welcomes you home when you’ve been gone?
I invite you to tell your story of Faith, hope, expectations on Writer’s Quote’s Wednesdays today.

I like her in Black and white as she seems to stand out more in b and w without the distraction of the colors around her. I am greeted by a small black mini Schnauzer when I come home.

Thanks for the input, Anne. I love her either way, so it’s hard for me to decide. I love a small dog you can hold comfortably in your lap. My first dog, a 45 pound Airedale-poodle thought he was a lap dog and a neck dog during thunder storms. A miniature Schnauzer sounds much better. π

Thank you, Cee and you met her in person. π Your babies are so adorable. I love that you are able to brush their teeth. Kalev was never a fan of that, and I’m not great at forcing her.

What a cute pup π Colour and black and white are both lovely. Our dog used to always bring a toy with his whole body wagging whenever anyone came in the house. When he was a pup it was always accompanied by a little pee, which he grew out of. Hopefully Kalev will grow out of the screeching.

I wish, Cathy. She was silent for about the first two years, then as she aged, she became more possessive of us and her home. When we moved to Prescott, she was quiet again for a tiny bit, but she’s beginning to get excited again when we come home and sometimes when we leave. Always when someone else comes. She will be 12 this summer.

Except for her teeth, you’d never think otherwise. But that is her puppy picture, one of the first ones I took of her after she found us. So I was being a little deceptive. Here’s her story, Cathy. https://tchistorygal.net/2012/04/21/kalev/ I think you’ll love it. It’s a quick read. π
