#BrightSquare Day 13
“As usual for a Squares Challenge month I will be sharing squares daily, and I would love it if you did the same. However if daily sounds too daunting, don’t worry. It is fine to join us weekly or even just pop in occasionally with your squares. The frequency of your squares depends on you and also your blog. All I ask is that your image has 4 equal sides, and that it reflects the theme of bright.”

Virtual Vacation to Vegas #11 Leaving the Bright Life Behind

You saw it coming. Maybe it was reflected in our faces. You knew that even virtual vacations had to end sometime.
There’s no place like home, and you can’t wait to get there. 🙂

Oh, I was hoping we’d be holidaying in Vegas for the whole month. Where are we off to next then?

We are I’ve only finished through the 18th. My computer had a little accident with a cup of coffee, so I’m using Vince’s until my new one arrives on Thursday. I’ve been a little handicapped photo-wise. They are in the cloud, and some are processed, but V’s computer is super slow. I wish coffee had spilled on his instead. He could use a new one! 🙂

You are welcome, Jim. If you haven’t met her already, you can see some more of our trip through my friend, Carol’s eyes. She and her husband came from Australia and spent a week with us. It was so much fun sharing some of our favorite places with them. https://theeternaltraveller.wordpress.com/2021/04/01/1-welcome-to-la/ This is where the journey began. We were going to meet them, but a terrible snow storm closed the roads between our house and Los Angeles. So they were on their own, and took a train to meet us at the Central coast.

thanks for the link to Carol’s blog. I just started scrolling through some of her recent posts, and I saw all the wonderful photos she has of Las Vegas and California. The picture of the orange butterflies was fascinating to me…

That was an amazing place. We’ve been there several times. She got some amazing shots. Here’s my article. I thought I included more pictures. but there’s a video about butterflies. https://tchistorygal.net/2018/01/29/plan-your-travel-itinerary-to-include-the-california-central-coast/

I like virtual holidays, Marsha. We’re fortunate to go visiting our daughter and family and had fun with my granddaughter, Nora’s first birthday. We’re going to see them again for the Mother’s Day week.

How precious, Miriam! Have fun. I’m glad you get to travel. What a perfect age. Take lots of pictures. She will never be this age again.

Nora is making progress daily, Marsha. My daughter sent me photos and messages on her “firsts” all the time.
