#BrightSquare Day 10

“As usual for a Squares Challenge month I will be sharing squares daily, and I would love it if you did the same. However if daily sounds too daunting, don’t worry. It is fine to join us weekly or even just pop in occasionally with your squares. The frequency of your squares depends on you and also your blog. All I ask is that your image has 4 equal sides, and that it reflects the theme of bright.”

Virtual Vacation to Vegas #8- Dreaming in Bright Purple

Do you dream in bright colors? I do, but rarely in purple. Here’s our chance to see what it’s like to dream in purple. The actors/acrobats make $30,000-80,000 a year to risk their lives doing the amazing stunts we saw. If someone paid me millions I couldn’t dream of being able to contort my body in any color.

Some Shameless Plugs

If you love using quotes with your BrightSquares, stop by with a quote and your own words to the wise or photo for Wednesday’s Quotes on the topic of Fitness, Health, and Wellness. You can combine challenges and post about fitness any time until next Tuesday.

April’s STORY CHAT with the The Truman Show-like short story, Miniature Planet. Stop by, enjoy some of Natalie’s coffee, a beignet and chat.

“It does have a Truman Show feel, doesn’t it? Or Ishiguro’s novel Never Let Me Go about clones. Very sinister and controlling”

enjoy your weekend. There’s Lots to do and Enjoy in this beautiful weather. If not, stay inside and blog!

  1. I wonder how those acrobats have survived the past year…

    1. Good question. I heard that many of them went to Sydney, Australia. I’m not sure how they got there with closed borders and such. I forget where I read it, but I know they had COVID tests weekly. I don’t know how the rest of them survived a world-wide pandemic. They would be hard-pressed to even be able to stay in shape. Where would they practice? And how could they do all those stunts wearing masks? Mine sometimes slips up and I can’t see very well. Yikes. You have a kind heart to think about them.

      1. I didn’t think about all the challenges they must have faced. I hope they will be able to go back to doing what they love, soon.

  4. Good questions about whether or not we dream in bright colours. I think the colours in my dreams are pretty average — I will now pay closer attention to this.
See you at ‘Emerge’ tomorrow. Thank you for hosting again.

  6. Love your take on a Bright Square. Purple was my mom’s favorite color. I have never thought about whether I dream in color or not. Next time I dream, I am going to notice! 🙂

    1. LOL, Maybe purple is the color of dreams, Laurie. It’s kind of a night color, not quite black, but muted and diffused, just as dreams are.

    1. Oh my gosh, Jacquie, you would love it. I think of you as being dramatic, and you would revel in it. Let me know if you are ever coming that way. It would be a great place for a meet-up. I’m only 4 hours away.
