“As usual for a Squares Challenge month I will be sharing squares daily, and I would love it if you did the same. However if daily sounds too daunting, don’t worry. It is fine to join us weekly or even just pop in occasionally with your squares. The frequency of your squares depends on you and also your blog. All I ask is that your image has 4 equal sides, and that it reflects the theme of bright.”

Virtual Vacation to Vegas #5 Drive My Car?

No, no one came up to me and said that! Darn! Imagine this sitting in your parking lot! There it was sitting in a strip mall parking lot right next to our hotel. My husband drooled while I took pictures then walked on by to go to the huge Ross store next door.
Have fun the rest of this week.
Please stop by my blog for sure this Sunday. I’m hosting Sunday Stills for one more week while Terri gets her internet going.
If you’re good at using quotes with your BrightSquares, stop by today for Wednesday’s Quotes on the topic of Fitness, Health, and Wellness. You can combine challenges and post any time from tomorrow until next Tuesday.
Friday is Lucky #13 in the series of Challenge Host Interviews with Natalie the Explorer, hostess of Weekend Coffee Share.
Yesterday was April’s STORY CHAT with the Twilight-Zone-like story, Miniature Planet. Stop by, enjoy some of Natalie’s coffee, a beignet and chat.

great song, and an awesome looking car. It would be fun to drive one for just 30 seconds!

I would be quite nervous getting behind the wheel…

Not sure if you’ve seen it, but I’d be like that guy in the tv commercial where it is a drag race, and the one river is content to just go slowly down the racetrack because it helps him save money on insurance… 🙂

That would not be my husband. He had a race car that almost cost him his life. The hood flew off! Both his son and I worked on getting him to give up that hobby.

that must have been scary!

It scared me. He laughed and insisted he didn’t – and couldn’t possibly EVER – get hurt. I finally told him if he did not get rid of the car, … It was a hard choice for him, but he finally chose me. He still misses his silver gray Nova. I don’t.

I like his positive attitude! 🙂
I used to own a brown Nova. Couldn’t wait til we got rid of it…

Vince would have gladly taken it off your hands and put a roll bar inside. I would have killed him.

Goodness, you wouldn’t lose this one in the car park. It would be easy to find, even in the dark. 🙂

LOL, no, you wouldn’t lose it. I can’t even imagine displaying it where it was.

My first car that I had for 17 years was that bright orange. 😀 😀 love it.

Mine was bright red, but it wasn’t quite that same make. Let me think, no, it was a Mazda 323. 🙂

The store is huge. I had planned a whole morning there while Vince played in a poker tournament – our reason for going to Vegas. I had just settled in with 10 items to try on, when the dreaded phone call came an hour after he left home. He was already out of the game and needed comfort food at the pizza restaurant across the street. I apologized to the woman at the fitting room counter, and left my bags and scurried over to the restaurant.
“No more poker tournaments for you, young man,” I admonished him between delicious bites of pizza. Who needs new clothes anyway?

What an awesome shot. So powerful. Although taking in a parking lot you can really sense the cars movement!
You are a very talented photographer!
