#BrightSquare Day 5

“As usual for a Squares Challenge month I will be sharing squares daily, and I would love it if you did the same. However if daily sounds too daunting, don’t worry. It is fine to join us weekly or even just pop in occasionally with your squares. The frequency of your squares depends on you and also your blog. All I ask is that your image has 4 equal sides, and that it reflects the theme of bright.”

Bright Idea! create Yourself a template for these posts

Since I am posting some of the same information day after day, I forget exactly how I worded something. I don’t want to constantly cut and paste back and forth. Somehow I happened on this shortcut to create a template for my posts.

  • At the top right hand of your WordPress screen is the Publish button, Settings, Jetpack, then three dots.
  • Click on the three dots
  • In the drop down menu choose “Copy All Content.”
  • Add a new post.
  • Paste old content into it. Update what you need and create a new title.

If you know any great shortcuts to posting, let me know in the comments and I will summarize them and create a new post using your bright ideas.

Have a great week.

  2. Ha! I would break an ankle if I tried to walk in those babies. They are for lounging on the sofa while looking beautiful!

    1. Yes, that would work! 🙂 LOL Thanks for stopping by, Laurie. 🙂

  3. Oh my, 🥰 I can see myself wearing any one of these and admit, I do have a few pairs of shoes that are studded with sparkles – albeit they are sensible flats to match my age, I believe they also match my personality.

    1. You have a sparkly personality, Clare. Even the title of your blog is sparkly.

      1. Hang onto that thought. I’ve another little ‘Bright Squares’ plaque to share (soon) that sums up those sparkles I love so much 🥰

  4. Um…NO! My feet are hurting just looking at them. I’m more of a Ruby Slipper kind of girl. That would be the brightest, highest heal I could stand. LOL! 🙂

  6. These aren’t anything like your stability shoes! 🙂 If I was wearing these I would just have to stand in one spot because I wouldn’t be able to walk in them.

    1. LOL. Can’t you just see me in those shoes. I’d have to have a person on each side of me to catch me when I turned an ankle. 🙂

      1. Or you could just wear them and stand in one spot all night.

        1. LOL, fi I could stay standing. I turn my ankles all the time, just standing. It’s a habit, probably. Wit my feet on the ground, who cares, but get them 10 inches off the ground, and I’d be on the ground. 🙂

          1. Maybe you should just glue some sequins on your stability shoes.

          2. I need new shoes, maybe the next pair. 🙂 I think they have high heeled sneakers (trainers) now. 🙂 Maybe there are some already sequined. 🙂

  9. long time since I was out in heels like these – not sure I could manage it now. My feet have got so much wider from rarely wearing shoes!!

    Liked by 1 person

    1. Mine aren’t so wide as they have gotten longer. I’ve gone from a six to almost an 8 depending on the type of shoe.

        1. Uhm, yeah? If you wait long enough, it’s more like appalling! I’m seeing my mother’s feet – not quite so bad yet, but certainly enough that when I get a pedicure, they look at me with sympathy! 🙂

          1. Oh dear, sending sparkling polish for your toes – mine are turning into elephant feet they’re so wide!

          2. LOL! Just as long as you don’t have a trunk and skin to match, you’re good. I’d like their memories, though. I love stories about elephants. They are fabulous creatures. So there you are, Becky – fabulous! 🙂

  12. You can also copy a post by clicking on the three horizontal dots on the ‘Posts’ page of your blog’s navigation centre and choosing ‘Copy Post.’ There’s also a host of other options under those three dots. As usual, I wrote a post about it.
