We moved yesterday. Our internet is now up, but I just rolled out of bed after a night with howling cats because they got scared in a new place. It sounded like a trip to the vet. I moved boxes and papers and cleared a space on my computer table to slide my computer in front of Vince’s.

I know it is one of those lame excuses.
Yvette from Priorhouse Blog agreed to host #WQWWC this week, and here is a link to her post yesterday. Like a numbskull, I didn’t announce it until my last post for Sunday Stills/Lens Artists Cee’s, Becky B’s and Colleen’s latest challenges. Thank you so much Yvette for hosting this week!!! Please post your replies and pingbacks on her blog this week.
To get started I have all the topics listed on my #Writer’s Quotes Wednesdays Writing Challenge page. This week’s topic is “Persistence” if you want to get a head start.
Autty Jade is my guest hostess next week. You will remember she hosted a few weeks ago about the topic, “New Beginnings.” Don’t forget to leave your comments and pingbacks on their blogs for today and next Wednesday.
Thank you for your love of quotes and writing. I’ll be visiting all the pingbacks, too. 🙂

See you back here on Always Write in two weeks. Thanks for joining us. 🙂

Thank you, Jim. It already looks much better in my office than it did when I took that picture! Do you have any good quotes for the challenge?

Hi Lisa, It was absolutely the right choice for us, moving from a house on an acre to a condo has meant freeing ourselves of a lot of stuff. We have hit the hard part of where to put all the things we chose to keep. Would you believe I moved a box of paper towels? Yikes!

hahaha I would probably do the same.. I have a few months before I think about it.. 😉

It took a long time to convince me to leave my friends, Lisa. You can’t take life-changing decisions lightly. I hope you are as happy with your decision as we are with ours. 🙂 Blogging helps a lot with the loneliness. I can honestly say that I have not been lonely. 🙂

I will also check back here to see what pings come this way and will tend to any I find this week.
Thanks so much and I hope you have a safe move and settling in.
Cheers,

Moving is so stressful (I’d be howling just like your cats), so the fact that you managed to clear a path to your desk is pretty impressive.

LOL. I wouldn’t say it’s clear. The good news is that the kitchen works now. Maybe tomorrow the office. 🙂 Thanks for the comment, Janis. 🙂

A day late and a dollar short. Isn’t that how the quote goes, Frank? Moving has made me several dollars short, come to think of it. LOL. The good news is we bought a great little used couch (and that’s hard to find) that looks amazing with our recliners and fits into the living room perfectly. I love my new home. 🙂

Everyone should get a free pass when moving, Marsha! I’m sure you are relieved to be in your new place and get on with it. We drove the 30 miles to Idaho again yesterday to shop at some furniture stores. We ended up buying/ordering counter-height chairs back here in Spokane for the new island in our home. We get them toward the middle of February when the house should be ready. Enjoy unpacking and decorating the new place!

Thank you so much, Terri. Thanks to both Yvette and Autty, I feel confident to take a free pass. Yvette’s post this week is lots of fun. 🙂 https://priorhouse.blog/2021/01/13/consider-using-a-quote-to-spruce-up-a-post-squareup-day-13/

You’re so amazing remembering us all and writing in the middle of a move in the middle of a pandemic

Well, you can see some of the things in my square messed up that didn’t get done. LOL. I don’t normally show off my house when it is messy, but I’ve been blessed with a messy house a lot this year. 🙂 I’m looking forward to Friday when I post your interview. Becky. 🙂 Your interview is so interesting. I can’t wait to share it with everyone.

We have that, at least today it is limited to the office and bedrooms, and Vince’s sister’s garage. 🙂
