Back to School in the time of Covid.

In Ontario, Canada, Anne’s grandchild heads to school for the first time. Her daughter shares her feelings about the epic day that I’m sure are felt by parents around the world. What’s happening in your neck of the world? CA, or at least Woodlake, is still digital until further notice.

Today our Grandson , Silas , went back to school and he is starting Grade 1. This day was an acclimatizing day and school proper will start next week

Our daughter wrote on Facebook about how she felt today and how she felt about him and her two step-daughters returning to school in this time of Covid. Here is what she wrote.

So many mixed emotions today as Silas starts Grade One. I’ve said to many friends and colleagues over the past 6 months that this time at home was like the maternity leave I never took. And as much as I’ve complained about balancing working from home, with having three kids home each day, I’ve honestly had the time of my life. Hi, I’m Marsha Ingrao, a retired educator and wife of a retired realtor. My all-consuming hobby is blogging and it has changed my life. My friends live all over the world. In November 2020, we sold everything and retired to the mile-high desert of Prescott, AZ. We live less than five miles from the Granite Dells, four lakes, and hundreds of trails with our dog, Kalev, and two cats, Moji and Nutter Butter. Vince’s sister came with us and lives close by.
