#LensArtist Challenge 112

Anne-Christine has picked several words to inspire us to share our photos. My pictures come from this week and trips from long, long ago.

Comfortable

Nutter Butter has known from kittyhood how to relax anywhere.

Precarious position or not, Nutters is comfortable

Growing

strawbabies

From May until the weather cools down strawberry plants forget about their obligation to produce berries and shoot out runners instead.

Tangled

The runners create a different problem. Weeding.

This weed entangles itself into the roots of the new plants, making them impossible to remove without disturbing the new strawberry plants.

Crowded

The strawberries worked for both tangled and crowded, but since I was organizing my old pictures, chose to include my 1988 trip to Italy. This was my first exposure to crowded. Even Los Angeles seemed empty compared to the crowds we experienced walking in Europe.

Exuberant

Nothing beats children to illustrate the word exuberant. Some of them are more exuberant than others especially if they see a camera.

Exuberance does get the looks.

Tim hides his exuberance well, but look at his shoulders. He is excited and up to something.

I hope you enjoyed this week’s #Lens-Artist’s challenge.

Next week’s challenge will be hosted by: Rusha Sams of Oh The Places We See

    1. Thank you so much, Becky. Sorry to be such a slow responder. We are moving in about four weeks, so between filling out forms, packing and fixing things, my blogging has slipped to the back burner.

          2. Thanks, BeckyB. 🙂 Until then I’ll try to be there or be square, as I think the saying goes. It’s almost 1:00 am, so I’m getting loopy. 🙂

  3. Great captures. Nothing else is as relaxed as a sleeping cat, or as exuberant as a child at play.

    1. Thank you I. J. If we could slip both of those capacities into our food, we’d be all set, wouldn’t we? But without the wisdom of temperance. 🙂

  5. Terrific choices Marsha – your little Nutter is adorably sweet and definitely seems to have mastered comfortable. And oh my, the crowd in Europe! The only thing I’ve ever seen like that was during our visit to Cinque Terra. And it was blazing hot that day too. Not my idea of a good time! Thanks for joining us this week!

    1. My pleasure, Tina. Thanks for the comments. I’ve never been to Cinque Terra. I decided to get off the Underground once in London and walk the distance of one stop, thinking it would be sooooo much faster. I was squeezed off the sidewalk by the sheer numbers of people and had to walk in the street and dodge cars, busses, and pedestrians. My mistake! 🙂

  6. Excellent choices – of course! I do love Nutters…very much. Surely you made the most of strawberry plants too, and so true what you said about children and exubearance. You proved that in the best of ways – Thank you for taking the time to participate!
