Taking to the Road

You have to pick when you visit Australia because it is so vast. Native Australians often travel around the country on holidays. Taking to the Road

A couple of weeks ago my husband, aka Mr. ET, and our daughter set off on the first part of a great adventure.

They travelled from Toowoomba to Roma, Longreach, and Mount Isa, into the Northern Territory on the Barkly Highway, on to the Stuart Highway north to Mataranka, Katherine and Kakadu before arriving in Darwin. They covered 4046 kilometres in 11 days and saw many amazing sights along the way.

Hi, I’m Marsha Ingrao, a retired educator and wife of a retired realtor. My all-consuming hobby is blogging and it has changed my life. My friends live all over the world. In November 2020, we sold everything and retired to the mile-high desert of Prescott, AZ.     Australia is so vast. I’ve lived here all my life and seen so much of it and yet there’s still so much more. Can’t wait for our trip to the Red Centre in a few months and look forward to reading more of Carol’s posts.

    Love seeing photos and reading about Australia. There is so much to see. We visited this beautiful country, but love seeing new areas. Enjoy your time there.

      Thank you ducks. It is a beautiful place. You will notice my bear, Manny, and echidna posing in many of my posts as they come out. Manny has his own site, but has been neglecting it. 😦
