Carol and I traveled from Brisbane, Australia to Melbourne then to the gold mines of Ballarat for about ten days. While we were there, we met our blogging friend, Leanne Cole, a fantastic photographer and artist. We had several excursions together, which I will “get sorted” when I get back to the United States. I’ll create my series of posts then. Meanwhile, I’m working on my Australian dictionary!

Walkabout Around the City

Usually I do this post with a catch up and let you know what I’m up to, but to be honest, time is running out this weekend. I’m off tomorrow on a small camping trip. I know, hard to believe, but yes I’m camping. Nothing too much just overnight. I will tell you more when I get back.

We me blogging about four years ago. You know how you just hit it off with some people. Well, that was how it was with us. We spent a week together last year, then I came here this year. We’ve had some amazing times. 🤗🤗🤗

Nothing beats a good walkabout around the city. Or an overnight camping expedition to the beach (which is where I’ve just returned from). Keep enjoying! 🙂

Yes, but we didn’t camp. We had a wonderful Airbnb across from the State Library 📚. Great posi for the fireworks.

It is amazing. I love to experiment. So when I traveled over here, I decided to publish both Carol and Leanne’s posts rather than scrambling to write my own at this time. I hoped that many people would check out Carol’s posts, and a few have. It seems that we each have gotten about two followers from the other person, and several visitors have been followers of both of us. The rest are new. All in all a great experiment from my perspective. 🙂 Meanwhile, we are both having a great time. Leanne and I will have to compare notes after I get back. I just started publishing her posts as I couldn’t figure out a way to do that sooner. 🙂 Thanks for visiting and commenting. It’s been great fun to meet Carol’s friends. 🙂
