I could not photograph the fear in this poor pup’s eyes. Maybe you can sense the fear I felt from afar. At one point this careless girl let the paddle board float right next to the waterfall on the left, as she held it by a rope to keep it from going over.
Some folks don’t fully comprehend the concept of responsibility.

This girl certainly did not! I wanted to yell down at her, but that might have frightened the dog even more. I didn’t want him to lose his balance on that board and fall off.

Yikes, Marsha! I wouldn’t like it either because I can’t swim to save myself, let alone someone else.

I agree. I don’t like the feeling of being helpless, totally dependent on someone for my safety, unless I trust them. When we went on the Road to Hana, Carol said I didn’t want to see her side of the bus. I’m glad I didn’t. However, the bus driver gave us his credentials at the beginning of the trip – hundreds of safe excursions, so I felt safe. I did a similar trip with my husband driving and we were both scared spitless the whole way. I will never go that route again! That puppy MAY have totally trusted his owner, but he didn’t look like he did, and I certainly didn’t!

It was not nice to watch, that’s for sure.

No, just the opposite. She was playing with the dog. Only I don’t think the dog was enjoying the game.
