I examinedย 12 posts before I wrote this. ย I don’t usually do that, but I needed inspiration. ย I smiled at thisย favoriteย . ย You have to look past the obvious angle to see the real angle, and wonder where the photographer stood to shoot this single picture post.
Angles are easy to find in the city, but what about in the country? ย I checked out some of my most recent Woodlake pictures for you from my folder of Buttes and Bridges, and found more angles than I expected. ย I love this one because it looks like Jack’s steel beanstalk disappearing into the sky climbing to an unknown giant’s castle.
Actually, the power company decided that detouring the installation ofย these monstrosities into the countryย served the better good that marching them up the straight path along a freeway. ย Not everyone agreed with that angle of thought, but there were fewer voters to object in the sparsely populated areas.
What’s your angle? ย Here is the key to others that I liked.

I like the way the top is hidden in the clouds. Cool photo Marsha.

These things are so ugly, and really spoil the landscape, but “Jacks’s Steel Beanstalk” really fits the bill for the challenge, Marsha.

Good job you don’t live in South Africa the. They’re having regular ‘load shedding’ of up to four hours a day, because the present government hasn’t made sure that regular maintenance is carried out. ๐ฆ

Yikes. And yet you manage to get your blogging done – much more than I do, and your husband does all that work using power tools. That must be a pain! ๐

I know – the birds! But when you did, live in SA, you were just as amazing a blogger as you are in FL! ๐ Go figure that angle! ๐

The electricity situation wasn’t as bad then. The Post Office workers have also been on strike for 3 months, so there’s no point in sending Christmas cards, as it will take them till Easter to clear the backlog, unless they just throw it all in the trash and start again. ๐ฆ So happy we don’t live there any more.

I thought you just got another house there. No? You are moved to FL permanently?
