Here comes one now.

“They’re right here, Mom. ย See them swimming. ย And here we are.”

“Unfortunately, Manny you’re just looking at the sign. ย You have to look at the ocean to see them.”

“Mom, do you think I need glasses? ย I can’t see the ocean.”
Do you ever feel like Manny feels. ย The answer must be somewhere nearby, but you just can’t see it? ย Tell him about it. ย It will make him feel better.
Hi, I’m Marsha Ingrao, a retired educator and wife of a retired realtor. My all-consuming hobby is blogging and it has changed my life. My friends live all over the world. In November 2020, we sold everything and retired to the mile-high desert of Prescott, AZ. We live less than five miles from the Granite Dells, four lakes, and hundreds of trails with our dog, Kalev, and two cats, Moji and Nutter Butter. Vince’s sister came with us and lives close by. Every day is a new adventure.

At least he saw some whales on the sign, he is one lucky bear being there with the waves and blue sky!

He didn’t on this trip. I didn’t either. I’m not sure if his eyes are very good! I know mine aren’t! ๐

LOL – I think Manny needs to sit back & take a deep therapeutic breath of the ocean. Then – he will be able to see what’s basically right in front (or just behind) him ๐

I agree. To be fair, the whales on the sign were the only ones I saw, too! ๐ But the ocean was lovely. ๐
