Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Two

Many things come in twos.  I find it hard to be original here.  I’m using two hands to type these words, two ears to hear the dishwasher churn away, and two legs waiting to carry me on a walk with Sally at 3:00.  So I looked in my photo collection to find pictures of two.  You guessed it – there wasn’t much to choose from.  Here are a few.

2 Dogs

This pair of opposites posed at a craft fair in Palm Springs with their owners.

2 windows

For these two windows life is a bed of roses looking out at the picturesque town of Solvang.

2 birds

These two fellows fought for prime real estate on Santa Monica Pier.

two rows of fruits

Seattle, Washington’s Pike Place Market merchants added brightness to the gray November weather at last year’s NCSS Conference.

  1. Adorable hounds there and I just adore those two windows peering out, beyond their little microcosm of roses, gazing into another world beyond the sonorous little garden- what an intimate capture indeed, I just adore that photo. The gulls, of course, are close to me briny heart. The sounds they were making today when I was frolicking about with them were so ragmatical and obnoxious, it was just too funny. I love the gulls indeed I do. They were splashing me, flitting right in my face, attempting to land on my head, and all the while squealing away like raucous toddlers. Meanwhile squirrels were crawling all over me, looking to see if I had hidden peanuts behind my hears or beneath my jaunty flat-cap. 😉 A woman strolled up and bugled, “Hello, I’m an ARTIST. May I take a photo of you feeding the birds.” All the birds and squirrels whirled around to gape at her as I consented, though I have no idea what she saw in the scene…”lass barraged by wildlife” Ducks were bonking into me as well, and there was a sea of snow white honking blue-eyed ibi (my plural for ibis, just like Elvi (plural of Elvis)) Anyhow, it was grand and how did I stagger into this incessant babblative barrage?? BLAST! Anyhow, love the photo…so gorgeous, the formations in the background, and the colouring, the sunlight filtering through the foot of the gull on the left, just wonderful. And of course, love the berries, can smell them from here. Lovely post lass, cheers,

    • Thank you dear Autty! Glad you enjoyed the pair of pouches. They would have loved you too. I’m sure the berries would have loved you, if they could talk. Dogs are much better conversationalists. 🙂 I’m in St. Louis today at a conference, National Council for the Social Studies. I’ve seen neither, fruit nor fluffies today. Having fun anyway. Taking a break to rest my weary toes. 🙂

Hi, I'm Marsha Ingrao, a retired educator and wife of a retired realtor. My all-consuming hobby is blogging and it has changed my life. My friends live all over the world. In November 2020, we sold everything and retired to the mile-high desert of Prescott, AZ. We live less than five miles from the Granite Dells, four lakes, and hundreds of trails with our dog, Kalev, and two cats, Moji and Nutter Butter. Vince's sister came with us and lives close by. Every day is a new adventure.
