Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate the “life” Manny has been leading this past month. I just got word today that he has gone to teddy bear heaven.
I’m sure we will all miss him greatly, but he has definitely moved to a better place.
Of course, if you have been reading Manny’s emails, then you know that Ute took him from Ralph’s house in Spain home to England with her. If you look out the window, you can see he no longer can see the mountains of southern Spain.
Now his life is totally different. He is no longer the spoiled nearly-only bear. Cowboy Manny is trying to ride a herd of lemurs.
During the day he goes to school. Life is busy in heaven.
Manny, you love to color. I’m sure you stayed quietly coloring all morning long. Can you find all the places you’ve been in the Atlas?
I can see that you are much the same in heaven as you are at home on earth. Do you pray in heaven as you do on earth?
Give us today day our daily bread,
On earth as it is in heaven.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
So have you got everything all figured out up there in heaven, Manny? Is heavenly life starting to fall into a pattern?
Have you made any special friends in heaven? WAIT A MINUTE, young man. I thought I hadn’t received an email because you were in heaven, but there’s Danny. hmmmm I think you’d better get typing, Manny T. Bear.
“Dear Mom, I still love Ute, but she is making me work really hard. And she took the donuts away from me before I could even eat a bite. Ralph let me have donuts every day. Ralph gave me wine, and had parties every day. I have to go to school in England. Gotta go, Mom. Teddy McFluff wants me to do something with him. Bye! Love, Manny”

I hope Manny enjoys England. It looks like he’s having a good time. I’m not convinced he’s in heaven. Does he have access to wi-fi?

Oh yes! There’s plenty of wi-fi in his heaven, thank heavens! 🙂 He seems to be enjoying England in spite of Ute not letting him eat the entire box of donuts and falling into a stupor for the rest of his vacation! 🙂

Hmmmm I’m not sure he thought of that when he was climbing on the rack, or playing with the puzzle. But I agree with you. He will be able to talk to the cuddly bear of his choice, not just grunt an answer. 🙂

Can you believe all those wonderful animals. When she told me she had teddies, I had no idea! What fun he’s having! 🙂 I hope you do get the chance to meet before Carol comes to take him away with Justin Beaver to Australia! 🙂

He’s telling me NO right now. I’m trying to bribe him with a train trip across the U.S. with his Uncle Randy and me. 🙂 We will see what he has to say about that! First he wants to go to Australia, and maybe even around Europe a bit more with Carol, the Eternal Traveler. 🙂

Manny loves all our other teddies, I actually think they party while we are asleep, as they seem rather tired in the morning. As I am so tired I never wake up during night to check, but I let him have some fun! 🙂
Well he certainly sees a different life to his home life. Glad he still loves me!

Yes, here he has his own space, and does visit with the other teddies some, but is concerned about Kalev using him as a dog toy. So he sits high on a shelf where he is safe, and he can jump down to the table, and help me blog. No, he is not going to want to come home, EXCEPT, and Manny I know you are listening. Uncle Randy and I are going on a train trip across country in October. You won’t want to miss that!

I’m still tugging at the jeans! 🙂 I got a long email from Carol telling me all about their first three days in London. They are jam packing! It’s great to go new places, isn’t it. We have several trips planned soon.

For London you need months to look at everything… I took a freind round sightseeing, she lives here, and she was amazed at everything. So close but she never goes just sightseeing.
