Many things are on my mind to write tonight, since I have been without internet for two days, working my finger muscles so hard offline that they are stiff and sore almost like they were lifting 60 pound weights 3 reps of 25 times each. So I have to decide what is most important out of all the thoughts streaming through my mind – and possibly short, since it is already 10:34 p.m.
Most important is not my news, but my stepson’s. He is a man of dreams. This one is his most persistent. Over three years ago he and a friend came up with an idea that they thought would be relaxing, and healthy. They named it the Mind Table, and built a prototype, and tested it on many people, including me.
Last week he received the letter from the patent office that his machine is no longer patent-pending, but patented. Congratulations J. It was a lot of hard work, persistence and belief in your idea, and now it has come to pass.
You can visit his website to see how it works. I think it’s actually pretty incredible. When I have tried it, it makes me giddy. Have you ever seen the machines that hang you upside down so that the blood flows to your head? The Mind Table is similar, but is like a comfortable couch, and instead of leaving you in an uncomfortable upside-down position, the machine brings you back, tilts you towards a standing position stretching your back, and moving your blood slowly towards your feet. You tilt back and forth very slowly for five minutes or so, kind of like you are on a ride.
When I get off the Mind Table, I feel 1) giddy, 2) energetic, and 3) like I can do anything – very positive about life in general. Other people have reported that their backs feel good. The unfortunate thing for me is that he lives 5 hours away, and so does the machine. The good news is that now he can sell his machine, and if I work my cards right, I’ll get one!
So check him out. See what you think.
