Lincoln City, OR

A sunny day on the Oregon Coast is better than not gaining a pound after eating a gallon of chocolate and vanilla ice cream swirled with caramel and fudge and chocolate chunks all through it.  AND not having your cholesterol move up a point either.

Stand on the ledge, if you are not afraid of the careful cops that come around and tell you to get off.  They do that when moms let their two-year old children stand on the brick wall.  Below the water mesmerizes you, begging you to jump to your death onto the rocks below.

You keep your feet planted firmly on the ground BEHIND the low wall, but PLANTED they stay as you watch the water pound the rugged rocks, then leave them  to sun themselves for a second.

Your brother wants you to see the shortest river int he world, River D as it empties into the ocean, but you grab one last picture on the run.

The bridge over River D offers photographic opportunities to the artistic eye – even a would be photographer with a normal eye like mine.

Even fast-walking, once fast-skating brother couldn’t resist taking a second to snap a picture.

The water here has no idea of what awaits its unsuspecting H2O particles after they reach  the ocean just a few yards away!

Someone has a fish cleaning business right here.  Guess who’s coming to dinner?

Just lean over the edge to watch the free show.  I apologize for the lack of clarity.  I learned about the auto-focus feature long after this.

I don’t think they ever worry about hunger pangs.

Yum yum.  Well to them anyway.  I’m not hungry.  Wonder why?

Hi, I'm Marsha Ingrao, a retired educator and wife of a retired realtor. My all-consuming hobby is blogging and it has changed my life. My friends live all over the world. In November 2020, we sold everything and retired to the mile-high desert of Prescott, AZ. We live less than five miles from the Granite Dells, four lakes, and hundreds of trails with our dog, Kalev, and two cats, Moji and Nutter Butter. Vince's sister came with us and lives close by. Every day is a new adventure.
